unabated, there is no shortage of war films based upon novels or some other spurious origin and hyped as fact. Some modern Authors use wartime newspapers as a reference to base their fictionalised stories on. Again the propaganda of that time was very different to the reality! Sadly, we live in a world where fictionalised schoolboy heroics and profit come before integrity. This continues to do true Veterans a great disservice and also gives following generations a misguided view of war. CONTINUED
