Soon after the book “My World War Two” was published, in addition to my Father receiving many phone calls and letters congratulating him, to our surprise, a number of War Veteran’s children contacted me. Within Dad’s book, he mentions how children appear to be affected by what their Father had been through. We were both amazed by the number of people who identified with this. After a while, a pattern began to emerge. Us children of War Veteran’s who saw excessive action and suffered shell shock all appear to have a history of almost identical nervous problems. The number of people who continue to contact me outweighs the possibility of a coincidence. |
